This isn’t a food review per se. Perhaps more of a combination post that involves food (one of my greatest vices) and a certain, versatile, super compact Casio Exilim EX-ZR20 camera.  I recently had an opportunity to finally pay a visit to MyBurgerLab, a new generation burger joint with kick-ass homemade burgers. Thanks to fellow foodie and famous food/lifestyle blogger Rebecca Saw who made the arrangements, together with a couple of friends in tow, we visited the much-hyped, and super-crowded diner at Sea Park, Petaling Jaya.

As we wanted to try as much as we could, we took the liberty to order pretty much everything on the menu, including The Elvis (which is off-menu, and highly recommended. Thanks, Mark).

You’re looking at an average of about RM15.00 per burger which is a decent price to pay for a really good burger. Our total bill for 10 burgers came up to RM189.50. By the way, the fried mushrooms are the bomb.

MyBurgerLab Beautiful Mess: Doesn’t this just look completely enticing?

My favourite was Jam with Elvis. Succulent beef patty and blueberry. Unusual combination, but let me tell you, so so good. A definite must try!

What’s great about the burgers are that they are all made fresh with premium ingredients. Their charcoal buns are the brand’s appeal. Not something common you’d find at any burger joint. If you’re a low-carbie, ask for a lettuce wrap instead.

Here’s a tip. Go early. The queue is out of this world, and burgers may finish by 8-8.30pm.
