HTC One V

If you’re looking for a quality yet wallet-friendly smartphone, you may want to take a peek at the HTC One V. This entry-level Android phone belongs to the HTC One series, and runs the Android 4.0 platform, or commonly known as the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Beats Audio, Dropbox, and Video-Pic are just some of the highlights of this unit. To learn more about its features, you may want to continue to read on.

Design and Display

The HTC One V is equipped with a 3.7-inch display, which is undeniably bigger than the iPhone 4S. The unit has a unique design with a distinctive chin protruding at its base. It also has a minimalist look featuring only three capacitive touchscreen keys for back, home, and recent apps just underneath the screen. Up top lies the power button, 3.5 headphone jack, and just next to it is a strip of LED, which blinks and notifies you whenever there’s new message, email, update, and everything in between. The huge screen is also quite responsive, and is great for viewing videos, and photos.

HTC One V Camera

Camera. This smartphone features a 5 megapixel rear camera. It may not be overly impressive, but it does at least have an auto focus feature which is also found in other current crop of smartphones. Apart from that, it is also equipped with an LED flash, so you’ll have no worries about capturing photos at low-light environment. Sadly, it doesn’t have a secondary camera, so video chat isn’t possible. The camera features continuous shooting mode which allows you to take multiple photos by simply long pressing the shutter button. With such great feature, you’ll surely get the angle and shot that you like the most. Another notable feature is the video-picture, which lets you record high definition videos and capture stills simultaneously.

Beats Audio. The HTC One V is integrated with the famed Beats Audio technology, which is really worth bragging about. This feature will surely keep you entertained as you’ll hear nothing but purely authentic sound. Hence, you’ll enjoy more listening to your favorite tunes, playing games, as well as watching videos. However, this feature only works when the included earphone is plugged into the unit.

Dropbox. Another cool feature you’ll love is the Dropbox. The One V provides a total of 25GB free Dropbox space. So whether you’re a business-oriented person who saves a lot of documents, or a heavy-media user who stores myriad of songs, videos, and apps, you’ll truly appreciate this application. You can enjoy this free storage for two years.
