It’s been an interesting week. Kicking off our first edition of Mobile Monday, we have a buffet of mobile announcements from the Android camp, as well as a solitary one from Windows Phone 8. Read on and enjoy.

Hello, Nokia Lumia 925!
The latest addition to the Lumia family – the flagship Lumia 925 finally arrives on Malaysian shores. The device features the signature Lumia polycarbonate body, encased in aluminium. The beautiful LTE-enabled smartphone boasts a 4.5-inch AMOLED PureMotion HD+ display with ClearBlack and Sunlight Readibility technology. U Mobile introduces industry-first ‘Internet Share Plan’
In an unprecedented move, fast-growing U Mobile has rolled out a new ‘Internet Share Plan’ – a data-sharing plan believed to be the first in the telco industry. Starting at RM68 per month, the postpaid plan bundles two SIM cards, 3GB of data and 60 minutes of voice calls to all networks, with an option to add a third SIM. Learn more about the new plan.

Google Redefines the Nexus 7
Google has introduced the all-new Nexus 7, which we feel, is the Nexus 7 tablet that should have been. Boasting the latest Android 4.3 update, class-leading 1920×1200 display, the new Nexus 7 is also sleeker, lighter overall. The new tablet also gets a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, Adreno 320 GPU graphics and a bigger battery. And oh, a main, rear-facing camera! More about the Nexus 7.

Android 4.3 Jelly Bean debuts
Google officially released Android 4.3, an incremental update under the Jelly Bean umbrella. While we wait for the big Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie update, Google hopes we’ll be happy with some performance enhancements and feature updates. Most important – Multi-User Restricted Profiles and Open GL ES 3.0, which brings much better graphics performance. More about Android 4.3.

Xperia Z_Black_Front40_1Android 4.3 Update will shower in on Sony Xperia range
Sony Mobile went on record to confirm that the new Android 4.3 update will come to its range of Xperia devices including Xperia Z, Xperia ZL, Xperia ZR, Xperia Tablet Z, Xperia SP and Xperia Z Ultra. No time frame has been giving though. But hey, rejoice! Read more about the announcement.
