This is one for the gamers. MMD, leading display technology company and brand licensing partner to Philips Monitors, has introduced the high-performance Philips G-Line 144Hz Gaming Display. The new display is designed to provide superior visuals, comprehensive customisation options and extensive connectivity.

The gaming market is undoubtedly the most demanding in terms of graphics and computing performance. Games consistently push the envelope in terms of hardware and software specifications.

Made for ultimate gaming
The Philips 144Hz Gaming Display aims to give gamers a more immersive experience and its top-of-the-line 144Hz screen refresh rate ensures ultra-smooth visual quality. Screen redraws at 144 times per second is effectively 2.4x faster than standard displays.

What’s cool about the new gaming display is that it comes with preset settings that allows gamers to customise their gaming experience based on the type of games they play – FPS, RTS or Racing.

A whole lot of smart
A unique feature is called SmartFrame where the display boosts the gain level of RGB in a selected area where gamers may expect enemies to appear in-game, suited for FPS and RTS games.

If you’re a competitive gamer, you may appreciate the SmartSize function which adjusts display size and aspect ratio to simulate 10 common monitor sizes, down to 17-inch. Perfect when preparing for competition venues with different hardware and display specs.

As a complementary accessory, the 144Hz Gaming Display comes with a specially-designed Remote SmartKeyPad which enables users to instantly switch between two personalised gaming presents, and navigate the on-screen settings menu.

The 144Hz Gaming Display has a plethora of connectivity options – from Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL), Dual Link DVI, Display Port, Universal HDMI (audio and video), to a 4-port USB 3.0 hub.
